At the same time of this post going live, fingers crossed I’ll be in the sky on the way to Mallorca. Heres the beauty products that were at the top of my list.
This is the most lightweight, refreshing moisturiser I’ve ever used. Its become a staple in my normal, at home skincare routine, but its particularly a holiday skincare favourite. This is because it leaves my skin feeling so refreshed and not at all sticky (even in the heat).
Whilst headed off to a sunnier country I always make sure to take a foundation that already has SPF mixed in. This keeps the skin on my face protected without having to slap on a load of greasy suncream that will probably make me break out (if I’m going somewhere really hot I will still use suncream don’t worry).
I absolutely love this. I have to admit, I do use it pretty much all year around, it just gives a gorgeous natural glow which, when I’m not wearing make up, makes me look so much healthier than I usually would (I’m pretty pale without it cries).
When I touch back down in Britain it will officially be autumn. I’m already dreading how cold it will be and although I love autumnal colours, think burnt orange jumpers and burgundy lipsticks, I’m definitely going to make the most of my last chance this year to use bright summery colours like the ones below by MAC & Bourjois.
If I could only take one beauty product on the aeroplane with me, this would be it. My lips always get a little dry on flights due to the recycled air, unless I apply this before boarding. Its the longest lasting and most effective lip balm I’ve ever used.
Suncream & Aftersun
Duh. Suncream is just an obvious thing to take on holiday but if you’re anything like me you’re super forgetful and need to write it down anyway! If you’re using it correctly (and remembering to reapply) then you won’t need the latter, however I always seem to need it if I don’t take it so its definitely on my list!
What are your travel beauty must haves??
