I can’t believe we’re officially into Autumn and the start of the Winter months, last month I spent some time in sunny Spain and had been hanging on to the sunshine and the summer vibes for as long as I possibly could. Now, I’m back home and am in full autumn mode, think burnt orange colours, hot drinks, fallen leaves and all of the jumpers. Before I start with all that though, here are my September favourites:
Obviously Mallorca is going to be at the top of my favourite places I’ve been this month, we stayed at Alua Soul which was really nice (I’m just not sure they understand the meaning of all inclusive). Mallorca itself is literally one of the most photogenic places I may have ever been, with cute little streets, gorgeous flowers everywhere and hidden spots with gorgeous sea/ cove views.
I made the mistake when we went to Rome earlier in the year of not properly moisturising my tan and soon began to peel! I took this on holiday and have been applying it twice daily (very impressed with my commitment levels to this) and its really helped the health and look of my skin. Plus it smells gorgeous.
This is so general but when I’m abroad somewhere sunny I think that gold looks amazing with a tan. I’ve been wearing gold details including a gold nail polish from Academy of Colour. I received this as a gift as part of a set one Christmas, so unfortunately I can’t find the specific product, but I do know that they sell the brand at Debenhams so keep an eye on their Christmas gift section!
I received a mini version of this at part of one of Clinique’s promotional gifts so thought I might as well take it on holiday with me to try out! I absolutely love this for day time use. A lot of my time on holiday was spent laying out in the sun, this product really helped boost my confidence when going out without make up, as it totally just improved the look of my skin! I really wouldn’t have believed how effective it was without trying it first hand, so if you’re looking for a new day time moisturiser I really recommend trying this one.
Another promotional freebie, I’ve absolutely loved this product. It gives such a natural glow and as it is a cream product, its so easy to layer other, powder highlight over the top if you’re looking for something more.
I’ve never had Sangria before my holiday and it was pretty much all I drunk in the evenings (since apparently strawberry daiquiris aren’t all inclusive).
I’ve recently swapped phones to the matte back 7+ (instead of my rose gold 7), and love it, mainly because of the depth effect mode on the camera if I’m honest. Plus, the battery lasts quite a bit longer.

I’ve spoken about these so much but I’ve been wearing them so much over my holiday, and will continue to wear them in the Autumn/ Winter mornings when driving to work in the low sun. They’re so easy to wear and go with absolutely anything. You can still use code ‘sophie10’ for a discount across the website, happy shopping!
