There’s nothing that helps me relax and unwind quite like a Spa day. A little pampering and some much needed time away from the world and that never ending to-do-list can work wonders for both mind-set and well-being.
If you caught the post about my recent Spa stay at Center Parcs, Aqua Sana, you’ll know just how necessary I find Spa breaks as an excuse to pause life and come back rejuvenated and ready for the world. You’ll also know that while I was at Aqua Sana, I chose to upgrade my treatment to an Elemis Biotec Radiance Renew Facial– a 55 minute treatment which is designed for dull and tired looking skin. Exactly what I needed at the beginning of a new year! This was my first Biotec treatment using an ultrasonic peel, and I was so impressed with its results that I absolutely had to recommend it! I also thought I’d share with you the Elemis products that my therapist recommended to me!
The treatment itself was not only extremely relaxing, but it also gave immediate, visible results. There’s no beating about the bush- I walked in with dull, lifeless skin, and walked out glowing. My skin looked healthier, hydrated, and brighter.
55 minutes is a pretty long time, and during it, my beauty therapist used a whole range of different products which all felt and smelt incredible, so I was eager to read through my post treatment review and product recommendations. Although I didn’t feel as though I could justify adding many more products to my overfilling skincare shelves, I did pick up the Elemis Rehydrating Ginseng Toner. My therapist diagnosed me with combination/dehydrated skin- thank-you Winter- and since the facial, my skin has definitely thanked me for swapping out my usual Clinique toner. The Elemis toner works just as well as Clinique with regards to removing impurities, however it feels much more gentle and smells just like a Spa, which is sooo relaxing as part of my evening skin care routine!
My treatment review consisted solely of the Hydrated Glow Cleansing Kit, which contains the toner that I’ve purchased, as well as a Cream Cleanser and Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules. I’ll definitely be keeping these products in mind for the next time I need a skincare change. Before this treatment I hadn’t had much experience with Elemis as a brand and it hasn’t taken long to fully convert me!
I’d love to know if anyone else has tried any Elemis skincare, are there any other products that I should definitely invest in?
