The A-Z of Sophie (Hearts)

Hello Bexa did an A-Z get to know me post like this quite a while ago, and since then its stuck in the back of my mind as such a cute little post idea! I hope you enjoy getting to know me a little better and I’d love to see your versions if you’ve already done a similar post or now want to do your own!

A for American Food

American’s just do it better (apart from bread and chocolate) and if I lived there I think I’d be double the size I am now!

B for Beauty

I’ve been obsessed with beauty products for as long as I can remember, Selfridges beauty hall is one of my favourite places and no matter how much make-up I own I know I’ll still want more.

C for Carbs

We’re only on C and this is the second food related letter, oh dear, but yeah, pizza, pasta, garlic dough balls, you name it I’ll eat it.

D for Disney

Could you guess? I’m so obsessed with Disney, Disney World, Florida is my favourite place in the world (especially at Christmas) and I’ll never get bored of Disney movies!

E for Evie

For my kitty cat Evie who we rescued from Cats Protection last year.

F for Fitness

wish I was better at fitness. I love swimming and I’m actually pretty good at it, but I really need to push myself to do more of everything fitness related.

G for Greece

Which is where I am at the time of this post going live!

H for Holidays

This isn’t exactly personal to me, because who doesn’t like holidays, right? But I love holidays, I basically live for them.

I for Instagram

I have a bit of a love hate relationship with Instagram but have been really trying to grow it and produce great content. Check it out here and be sure to keep up to date by following too!

J for Jamie

My partner Jamie is one of the biggest parts of my life and the one who convinced me to start blogging. I told him how much I wanted to, but that I was scared I’d be rubbish at it, he was so supportive and encouraging.

K for Kurt Geiger

I worked at Kurt Geiger during my first year at UEA and boy do I regret not taking more advantage of the staff discount.

L for Land Rover

A Land Rover Defender has been my dream car for almost as long as I can remember, well.. it comes a close second to a Mercedes Benz G Class anyway (my birthdays in May, okay thanks).

M for Mexico

The first holiday that me and Jamie had together, I absolutely love Mexico. We visited Puerto Vallarta and I’d happily go back or explore another area.

N for Neutrals

I’m a little boring classic when it comes to most things, and love neutrals. Neutral nails, lipsticks, clothing, homeware, you name it and my staples are neutral.

O for Open Uni

I didn’t enjoy traditional University so after completing a year, I had some time away from it. I then decided to transfer my credits and continue my degree through the OU.

P for Phone

Again, maybe this isn’t super personal to me but I always have my phone in my hand. There are just too many social media apps to keep up with!

Q for Queen B

I’ve loved Beyonce for as long as I can remember, I got tickets for her world tour last year but then had to rearrange my trip to Mexico to the same date! I know its such a 1st world problem but I was so gutted! Luckily I managed to get tickets for her tour in June which I’m so excited for!

R for Recycle

I’m super passionate about everyone doing their bit to reduce waste and to stop ruining the planet! I recycle everything that possibly can be and try and convince others to as well, I’m probably super annoying.

S for Sunshine

I’m a Summer lover, I’d love to move to Florida or Cali or somewhere nice where the weather is great all year long! I’d be a much more cheerful person!

T for The Kardashians

A guilty pleasure, but I’m obsessed. I just think that they’re such an entertaining family, and if I’m honest I love seeing how they spend their money and what they choose to wear etc. I know I’m sad.

U for USA

My favourite place, as you already know, is Disney World, Florida. I’ve been three times and would happily go every year. I also love New York and would love to see the rest of America too. My dream would be to travel across America one day, maybe to do route 66 in a big old American truck.

V for Vanilla Lattes

My go to hot drink. I’m a baby when it comes to coffee and vanilla or caramel lattes (with three sugars) is the strongest I can go!

W for Weekends Away

Any trips are good! Long holidays or just short stays away like Spa weekends or weekends in Europe (I’d love to do Amsterdam, and more of France and Italy).

X for X-Rays

Ever since I was really small I’ve had dodgy knees, which meant that they would ‘give way’ regularly. I’ve had multiple misdiagnosis’s and I only found out what was actually causing it whilst at Uni when I had to visit a different A&E in Norwich. Its something which you grow out of, and luckily it doesn’t really affect me too much anymore, but it meant that I had hundreds of X-rays throughout my childhood!

Y for Yawn

As a child I never slept, apparently I was a nightmare baby and I had mild insomnia as a teenager. Now though, I’m a massive sleepyhead, I’m always tired and usually have a pretty early bedtime!

Z for Zucchini Flower

I hate zucchini’s (courgettes) but when we were in Rome, we visited the best little sandwich shop and Jamie ordered a sandwich which had zucchini flower in it! It was so good that he made me try some, I was so shocked but it was delicious!

I had so much fun writing this post and thinking about some of my favourite things! If you fancy doing your own or already have then please leave a link in the comments so that I can check it out! I hope you enjoyed reading mine!

  2. This is such a good idea for a post! It’s a fun way of getting to know someone better. I think I’d find it hard to come up with something for every letter though! 😂

  3. This is such a cute post!! I too love holidays and weekends away. And the USA, especially Disneyland Orlando is sooo much fun! I want to visit the California one as well. I think the food in the USA is just so good, which is why I’d end up gaining weight there haha xx

  4. I think that this is a really nice way to actually get to know you a little better!
And I totally get the letter X – I was forced to have pretty much… dozens of those when I was a kid because of my knees, too. And I really HATED it, even though I prety much didn’t had to do anything in particular. Nah.
